With over 40 years of leadership experience, Rick currently serves as Co-CEO of 1 Accord Technologies, delivering cutting-edge IT and security solutions across the Southeast. His career spans roles in technology, real estate, and manufacturing, earning him a reputation for driving growth, innovation, and service excellence. Rick believes deeply in the power of teamwork—employees, clients, vendors, and subcontractors together form the heart of something truly special at 1 Accord, a place many are proud to call home. Outside of work, Rick enjoys spending time with his wife and three boys. He’s also a proud BBQ king—at least in his own mind—always perfecting his next great recipe.
Chenise is a seasoned accounting professional with over 10 years of experience managing financial operations across industries including telecommunications, IT, and manufacturing. She specializes in accounts payable, general ledger management, payroll, and audit preparation, and has led successful system transitions including the implementation of SAGE. Known for her accuracy, efficiency, and strong understanding of GAAP, Chenise plays a key role in supporting strategic financial decisions and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Carlos joined 1 Accord in 2020 as an Account Manager, bringing a strong background in client service. Prior to this role, he spent seven years at The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee while earning a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Georgia. Carlos’s commitment to first-call resolution continues to shape his approach to client relationships. Passionate about health and fitness, he enjoys CrossFit, Hyrox, 5Ks, and Tough Mudders. Outside of work, Carlos values time with his wife, their English Bulldog, and close family and friends.
With over 15 years in the technology industry, David has led initiatives in networking, virtualization, security, and AV production. His passion for technology began at age six, learning to code alongside his uncle. He has built IT departments, managed teams, operated his own tech company, and delivered solutions across intercoms, access control, surveillance, and live production networks. He developed automation scripts for Georgia school districts’ statewide testing and created automated live streaming solutions. Certified in CCNA, Q-SYS, Extreme Networks, Fortinet, Valcom, and Salto, David focuses on practical, effective solutions. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters.
Cody Bardwell has over eight years of experience in the information technology sector, with a focus on innovation and emerging technologies. Growing up on a small farm in the Mississippi Delta, he was introduced to precision agriculture at an early age, sparking his interest in technology. In 2016, he moved to rural Alabama to work for an organic farm, where he built an ISP to provide reliable connectivity for agricultural businesses and local residents. Cody has since led projects in security, networking, and education, including large-scale camera installations, interactive panels, and access control. At 1 Accord Technologies, Cody has been responsible for overseeing projects, ensuring proper scheduling, execution, and completion. His experience and leadership continue to drive successful technology implementations across various industries.
Jared Morris has worked in IT professionally for over 25 years. With a career ranging from top to bottom across SMB, retail, finance, enterprise, K-12, and higher education, he thrives on working with others to develop the perfect solution for any unique situation.
When he isn't solving problems, Jared enjoys spending time with his family, PC gaming, engaging in Jeep shenanigans, and yelling at his unimpressed cats. A firm believer in teamwork, he loves sharing perspectives with those around him while building strong relationships and helping others to achieve their full potential.
Michael is a technology enthusiast with a passion for problem-solving. With extensive experience in AV, cybersecurity, networking, and physical security.
Beyond tech, Michael is a husband, dog dad, and CrossFit coach. Holding a master’s in Exercise Physiology, he refines his communication skills by coaching people from all walks of life. His love for challenges and helping others succeed extends to his professional approach—listening, collaborating, and advising while leveraging strong engineering resources to deliver impactful solutions.
Jay brings over 20 years of IT experience, specializing in engineering, software development, system integration, and cybersecurity. His expertise lies in leveraging technology to drive business success with a focus on innovation and problem-solving. Outside of work, Jay is an avid whitewater kayaker, embracing challenges that demand skill, resilience, and strategic thinking—qualities he applies to his professional role. His passion for adventure shapes his leadership style, emphasizing risk management, adaptability, and teamwork. Jay’s love for outdoor sports also fosters a workplace culture that values balance, health, and team-building.
Dan is an accomplished Audio-Visual Specialist with over 15 years of expertise in crafting cutting-edge AV solutions that leave a lasting impact. Known for his hands-on problem-solving skills and approachable style, Dan has a talent for designing systems that are as efficient as they are effective. In a previous role, he played a pivotal part in building a thriving AV division, earning a stellar reputation for delivering excellence and exceptional customer service.
With extensive experience across a wide range of AV technologies and a background in Audio Engineering and Music Production from Full Sail University, Dan seamlessly blends technical precision with creative ingenuity to deliver tailored, high-performance results. When he’s not transforming AV challenges into solutions, Dan can be found on the golf course, fishing, or producing music."
Luke is the youngest member of the team but has been building his technical skills for years. Passionate about technology from an early age, he began assembling computers for himself, family, and friends, graduating high school with two IT certifications already earned. At work, he brings curiosity and creativity to solving technical challenges, always eager to learn and grow. Outside of work, Luke enjoys all things Android, tinkering with electronics, tuning cars, and playing computer games. His hands-on approach and love for innovation continue to drive his development as a skilled and adaptable technology professional.
Rick is an experienced professional in device management and enterprise networking, combining technical expertise with leadership skills in the IT sector. Holding an MBA, he brings a well-rounded approach to technology and business. His global career has broadened his perspective, enriching both his professional achievements and personal growth. Outside of work, Rick enjoys spending time with family, playing sports, and traveling, always seeking new adventures. Honey Miscall brings over 25 years of technology sales experience to our team, combining deep industry knowledge with a practical understanding of client needs and funding challenges. She excels at developing cost-effective solutions that not only solve problems but also align with long-term goals.
Before joining us, Honey served as an Account Executive at Gartner, where she supported the Air Force team at Robins Air Force Base. Her career reflects a strong commitment to building trusted partnerships and delivering value in every engagement.
Outside of work, Honey has been married for 25 years and enjoys spending time with her three children. A devoted Georgia Bulldogs fan, she can often be found cheering in Athens—or at home in her garden, where she loves planting flowers

Born and raised in Northwest Georgia, Ellis Thompson brings a wealth of technical expertise, leadership, and hands-on experience to the 1 Accord family. Known for his problem-solving mindset and strong work ethic, Ellis has built a career defined by innovation and dedication.
He began in a research and development machine shop before launching and running his own CNC machining business for 13 years. As a business owner, he sharpened his skills in automated machining, coding, leadership, and project management. After selling the business, Ellis transitioned into the electrical and low-voltage industry, where he advanced from lead technician to construction manager.
Ellis’s broad technical foundation and ability to troubleshoot complex challenges make him a valued asset to the team. Beyond work, he is a proud father of two and grandfather of five. Guided by his deep faith, Ellis believes God is at the center of all he does and looks forward to contributing to 1 Accord’s mission with both skill and heart.
